I can't believe it's been 5 years(5/1/04)!!

Pikes Peak

We went to Pike's Peak and Manitou Springs. I was really out of sorts at the top of the mountain being so high up. The boys had some water right out of the springs on the street in Manitou, it was neat. After we got to the bottom of the mountain we went out for fondue.

Steak & Guns (Colorado)

Andrew took us to his gun club while we were there, we had a really good time...thanks Andrew! We also went out to a yummy steak place.

Garden of the gods

When we were in Colorado we went to the Garden of the gods. It was so pretty the pictures just can't do it justice.

Wyoming

I almost forgot to put up pictures from our trip. We had such a great time. I am going to have to write about it at a different time though.

October 2007

I love this picture of Nora.

Old pics from OBX

Green Eggs & Ham

Nora had been wanting green eggs & ham for quite some time. The chocolate face was her 1st experience with Nutella...YUM. She loves it now. I think this picture of Claire is proof that she will be just like her mother :)

Dedication

The 1st picture is from Nora's dedication (Dec 12, 2006) and 2nd is from Claire's (Aug 16, 2009).

Henry Ford Museum

Extras

A couple pictures from normal days in our house.

Botanical Gardens

We packed a picnic and took the girls to the Botanical Gardens downtown. What a wonderful place to spend a day!! Nora got to make a pasta frame and play in the water in the children's garden.

The Boys

Eric and Mike playing with Playdoh with not a kid in sight.

Butterflies

Nora got a catapillar to butterfly kit for Christmas (thanks Uncle Jake and Aunt Kristin!!) but we didn't want to have the catapillars delivered until summer. There was something wrong with our first batch so they sent us new ones. We had a really good time with them. Nora learned alot about chrysalides and metamorphasis. She liked to help pick out what we were going to feed them. They really liked melon and bananas. They even mated! We let them go in our back yard when it was time. The best part was when we let one go in the house...of course I had to wait until Eric was out of the room :) It was so much fun and we can't wait to do it again next summer.
